Local use
The app binds to loopback by default. The browser opens the local app; managed MCP normally listens at http://127.0.0.1:8099/mcp. Manager provides the actual generated client configuration for your installation.
Another device
Configure the app's access and authentication before connecting another computer. Use a trusted HTTPS route for remote access. A URL that works in your browser is not sufficient evidence that an agent can reach it with the right credentials.
MCP targets
A configured target records the application connection and permitted import and export roots. Use pandrator-mcp doctor --target my-target only after that target exists. Prefer Manager's generated client configuration for the managed HTTP route.
The optional direct Manager recovery route is a separate HTTPS connection. It has its own identity and credential, and is not needed for ordinary local project work.
